Job Title: Vernacular Outreach Coordinator

Description:

PETA India seeks a skilled professional to translate content from English to Hindi and coordinate vernacular outreach. This role involves translating written English content into accurate and meaningful Hindi for the organization's website, social media, news releases, and other materials.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of animal rights and PETA India's mission, with the ability to apply this knowledge to all translation and coordination work. They will also possess excellent translation skills from English to Hindi, verbal communication skills in both languages, and strong coordination skills.


Responsibilities:
  • Translate written English content into accurate and meaningful Hindi
  • Coordinate vernacular outreach, including managing and updating the Hindi website and social media platforms
  • Collaborate with the Online and Campaigns teams to create and adapt Hindi creatives for social media use

Qualifications:
  • Minimum two years of practical experience in translation from English to Hindi
  • Strong coordination skills, with the ability to effectively manage a team of freelance translators
  • Excellent translation skill from English to Hindi and verbal communication skills in both English and Hindi
