We are seeking an experienced and skilled accounting professional to join our team as a Senior Accountant. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing month and quarter-end USGAAP Close processes, with expertise in end-to-end legal entity ledger accounts close and finalization.

About the Role:

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for leading local statutory audits, including the preparation of statutory financial statements in compliance with Ind-AS. They will also assess risks over accounts and areas of responsibility, ensuring the financial integrity of accounting entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.

  • Manage month and quarter-end USGAAP Close processes, ensuring accurate and timely completion.
  • Lead local statutory audits, including preparation of statutory financial statements in compliance with Ind-AS.
  • Assess risks over accounts and areas of responsibility, ensuring the financial integrity of accounting entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.
  • Prepare journal entries and maintain account reconciliations consistent with GAAP and corporate accounting policies.
  • Research and document company position on technical accounting issues, effectively communicate and present to business partners.
  • Maintain robust internal controls of subsidiaries and comply with company policy, leveraging experience with the organization's internal control framework.
  • Support compliance and improve processes and internal controls in the area of responsibility, implementing simple workflows where needed.
About You:

To succeed in this role, you will need to have a degree in Accountancy, with mandatory CA/CPA qualification and 4-6 years of post-qualification experience in accounting, book close process, direct and indirect tax compliances of a company.
