About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced ETL Developer with a strong background in data integration and warehousing, focusing on OpenText Genio.

The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain ETL processes to integrate data from various sources, collaborating closely with business analysts and data architects to understand data requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop ETL processes using OpenText Genio, leveraging knowledge of ETL concepts, data integration, and data warehousing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality ETL solutions, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
  • Implement data extraction, transformation, and loading processes, performing thorough data quality checks and ensuring data integrity throughout the ETL process.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve ETL-related issues efficiently, documenting ETL processes and maintaining technical documentation.
  • Provide support and guidance to junior ETL developers, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development within the team.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology, complemented by 4-7 years of experience as an ETL Developer with a focus on OpenText Genio.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL, database management systems, data modeling, and data mapping techniques, combined with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, with a strong ability to adapt to changing project requirements and deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with other ETL tools and technologies, enhancing versatility and adaptability in the role.
  • Knowledge of Agile development methodologies, supporting iterative and incremental delivery approaches.
