Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Authorization Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and implementing SAP authorizations on METRO Group Financial Systems (MGFS).

Key Responsibilities

  • Process definition for all SAP authorizations on MGFS
  • Collection of business requirements by business process owner (BPO)
  • Consultation with BPO on decision proposals for SAP authorization changes
  • Ownership, update, and modification of SAP authorization concept
  • Definition of functional specifications for SAP authorization development
  • Testing, delivery, and verification against functional requirements
  • Adherence to METRO SAP IT security guidelines and ensuring compliance on SAP authorization
  • Role ownership of SAP authorization for SAP User- and Access Management (UAM)
  • Collaboration with other METRO SAP colleagues on IT security regulations and improvements

Requirements

  • SAP Authorizations SME with hands-on experience in user creation, maintenance, and role analysis
  • Knowledge of compliance topics and audit requirements
  • Good knowledge of authorization topics for SAP S4H solutions
  • Helpful experience in GRC 11/12 access control modules
  • Working knowledge of Segregation of Duties (SoD) and understanding of security concepts
  • Ability to analyze SAP security risks and provide recommendations

Additional Information

This role involves consulting with business process owners, supporting the SAP user management team, and working on process improvements.
