Chief Cyber Security Officer

The Chief Cyber Security Officer will oversee the strategic direction of an organization's cyber security efforts. This role involves driving the development and implementation of robust security strategies to mitigate risks across systems, applications, and infrastructure.

This leader will foster a culture of innovation, encouraging collaboration between cross-functional teams to integrate security into all aspects of IT and business operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive vulnerability assessment and penetration testing initiatives to identify and remediate security vulnerabilities across the enterprise.
  • Implement and manage system security tools to monitor, detect, and respond to security threats in real-time.
  • Develop and lead cloud security efforts, including CSPM, to ensure compliance and secure cloud environments.
  • Oversee application security practices, including secure coding standards and regular security assessments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement innovative security solutions that enhance the organization's security posture.
  • Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends, technologies, and best practices to drive continuous improvement.
  • Develop and maintain incident response plans to ensure timely detection, analysis, and response to security incidents.
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of experience in leading security operations and managing security teams.
  • Proven expertise in cyber forensics, incident response, and risk management.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills for identifying and mitigating security threats.
  • Hands-on experience with infrastructure and application security.
  • Preferred Certifications: CISSP, CCSP, or other leading security certifications.
  • Cloud Certifications: Azure Security Engineer, Microsoft Cybersecurity, or AWS Certified Security are highly advantageous.
