Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Senior Solutions Developer to join our team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for designing, developing and testing software code.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect requirements, design, develop and test software code.
  • Fundamentally fix bugs and provide production support.
  • Prioritise tasks effectively and manage time efficiently.
  • Continuously learn new technologies outside primary skills.
  • Develop innovative solutions to challenging problems.
  • Effectively communicate with colleagues, project managers and clients as required.

Technical Requirements:

  • Minimum 4 years' experience in Python programming.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in SQL database management.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience working with AWS Cloud Data Platform.
  • Experience with ECS, EKS, ECR, S3, EC2, VPC, Route 53, Lambda, API Gateway, AWS Glue, Event Bridge, Cloud Watch, IAM, RDS, Backup Services, Systems Manager.
  • 2+ years of experience with Docker container implementation.
  • Implementation and management of cloud infrastructure using IaC tools (Terraform scripting).
  • Familiarity with writing GitLab CI/CD pipelines and creating deployment automations.

Bonus Skills:

  • Motivated self-starter team player who is well-organised and methodical.
  • Good database skills in either DB2 or Oracle.
  • Good data analysis and presentation skills.
  • Performance tuning of queries and report calculations.
  • Knowledge of best practice architectures.
