The role requires an expert who can leverage their knowledge of Python to drive technological innovation. The successful candidate will have a strong foundation in object-oriented programming, as well as hands-on experience with data structures and algorithms.

A key responsibility of the job is to design, code, test, debug, and develop Python programs in a cloud environment. This involves understanding design and requirements, developing and executing custom application features and functions, creating estimates for small to medium-sized projects, and developing high-level designs and analyzing and developing code according to specifications.

Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of Python/Pyspark and Bash scripting.
  • Experience working with Dataframes, Pandas, Scipy, Numpy libraries is a plus.
  • Strong hands-on working knowledge in AWS Components or GCP Components, including IAM, EC2, S3, API Gateway, Secret Manager, Lambda, Glue, Route53, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, VPC.
  • Strong knowledge of databases (RDS).
  • Strong experience on complex SQL queries.
  • Good knowledge and experience of DevOps and any Cloud Infrastructure & Agile discipline.
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills.
  • Be a team player - someone who can work with other engineers to get things done.
  • Take pride in the quality of their work and care about how their product is used.
  • Strong unit testing and debugging skills.
  • Good understanding of threading limitations of Python and multi-process architecture.
  • Experience on Linux, Git, Jira, and agile software development.
  • Experience with continuous integration/continuous delivery.
