Highly Skilled Senior Professional

**Job Overview**
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Senior Lead in our IT department.
The successful candidate will be responsible for proactively monitoring and investigating logs across various environments, including Windows, VMware, and Hyper-V. This individual must have excellent problem-solving skills and be able to troubleshoot and implement resolution steps in a timely manner.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in kernel patching, troubleshooting, and adding storage for database requirements. Additionally, they should possess strong scripting skills to automate monitoring tasks and optimize infrastructure.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Proactively monitor and investigate logs across Windows, VMware, and Hyper-V environments
- Troubleshoot and implement resolution steps, updating tickets with the steps taken and outcomes
- Escalate unresolved issues to Level 3 Subject Matter Experts and collaborate with third-party vendors for resolution
- Ensure Service Level Agreement compliance, prepare shift handover reports, and maintain accurate process documentation
**Required Skills and Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science (Undergraduate), Postgraduate degree preferred
- Certifications: OS 201, Windows Server Admin, VMware 201, Virtualization Fundamentals
- Experience in kernel patching, troubleshooting, and adding storage for DB requirements
- Strong scripting skills to automate monitoring tasks and optimize infrastructure
