We are seeking a skilled API Developer to design and develop innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop new and updated REST APIs and Kafka event services, leveraging Java Spring Boot expertise.
  • Define endpoints, data formats, and authentication methods while considering security, performance, and best practices.
  • Translate business requirements into API design, ensuring seamless integration with IBM MDM AE product, MongoDB, and Kafka.
  • Implement API design best practices and use modern API design patterns to deliver efficient solutions.
Requirements:
  • Possess sound knowledge of designing and developing REST APIs, Java Spring Boot, and other (Kafka) Data Streaming services.
  • Hold a minimum of 6+ years professional experience in designing and developing REST APIs and other (Kafka) Data Streaming services.
  • Demonstrate expertise in Java Spring Boot and experience working with UML or BPMN, workflow design.
  • Possess working knowledge of SOAP Web Services, XML, JSON, XSD, WSDL, Postman.
  • Show experience working with Oracle, MongoDB, and SQL databases.
  • Demonstrate strong technical writing skills, good oral and written communication, and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrate ability to work independently and as part of a team.
