Job Title: DFT Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Full-Chip Test (DFT) Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our ASIC designs meet the required DFT design rules and coverages.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with ASIC design teams to ensure DFT design rules and coverages are met.
  • Generate high-quality manufacturing ATPG test patterns for stuck-at (SAF) and transition fault (TDF) models using on-chip test compression techniques.
  • Perform MBIST verification and repair, as well as test pattern generation through Mentor tools.
  • Conduct ATPG (SAF, TDF) and MBIST verification using unit delay and min/max timing corner simulations.
  • Collaborate with Product/Test engineering teams on the delivery of manufacturing test patterns for ATE.
  • Support post-silicon debug efforts, including issue resolution.
  • Develop diagnostic tools for ATPG, MBIST, and ATE bring-up.
  • Design and maintain scripts as necessary.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Electrical/Electronics Engineering.
  • Minimum of 4-12 years' experience in ASIC/DFT - simulation and Silicon validation.
  • Hands-on experience in at least one Full chip DFT.
  • Detailed knowledge of DFT concepts, pattern simulation, Silicon debug, and yield enhancement.
  • In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in ATPG - coverage analysis.
  • Expertise in Memory verification, repair, and failure root-cause analysis.
  • Proficiency in tools such as ATPG - TestKompress, MBIST - MentorETVerify, Simulation - VCS (preferred), ModelSim.
  • Scripting languages like Perl, shell, etc. is an added advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to adapt to new tools and methodologies.
  • Multi-tasking skills with high-priority designs in parallel.
