Overseeing Studio Performance and Creative Delivery

The Senior Manager of In-House Operations is responsible for managing the in-house studio's daily operations, from e-commerce/catalog shoots to brand campaigns. This role demands strong operational leadership, process-building ability, and vendor management expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Daily Studio Operations
    • Plan, schedule, and manage daily catalog shoots aligned with business priorities.
    • Track tasks and output of the studio team to ensure targets are met.
    • Monitor studio throughput, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to improve turnaround times (TAT).
  • Team Leadership & Coordination
    • Lead and manage the studio photography team and post-production editing team.
    • Allocate tasks, monitor progress, and ensure smooth handoffs between production and post-production.
    • Foster a collaborative work atmosphere within the studio.
  • Vendor Management
    • Manage relationships with post-production vendors, production houses, agencies, and freelance talent.
    • Negotiate contracts, track deliverables, and ensure vendors meet deadlines and quality benchmarks.
  • Process Setup & Improvement
    • Establish SOPs for pre-production, shoot execution, post-production, and final asset delivery.
    • Implement efficient workflows to reduce shoot-to-upload time for e-commerce assets.
  • Quality Control
    • Conduct on-set checks for brand consistency in photography and styling.
    • Oversee post-production QC – retouching, color correction, and final output approvals.
  • Budget & Resource Management
    • Manage resource usage for both in-house and outsourced work.
    • Optimize resource allocation.

Candidate Requirements:

  • 8+ years' experience in studio or production operations, preferably in fashion, jewellery, or e-commerce.
  • Proven track record of team leadership across production and post-production functions.
  • Strong vendor management skills with experience in high-volume, multi-vendor environments.
  • Expertise in workflow optimization and throughput improvement.
