Lead Technical Architect

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Technical Architect to spearhead the design, development, and scaling of fintech platforms. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, leadership ability, and a passion for leveraging technology to create meaningful impact in financial inclusion.

This role involves leading end-to-end design, architecture, and development of fintech products and platforms, driving technical decision-making, and ensuring scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions.

The successful candidate will mentor and guide a team of engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration, and work closely with product, business, and operations teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and scale fintech platforms and products.
  • Drive technical decision-making and ensure scalability, security, and performance.
  • Mentor and guide a team of engineers, promoting innovation and collaboration.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 6–10 years of experience in software development, with at least 2–3 years in a lead/architect role.
  • Strong proficiency in one or more modern programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, Node.js).
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP).
  • Solid understanding of system architecture, microservices, and database design.
  • Experience with fintech, payments, lending platforms, or BFSI domain is a strong plus.
  • Proven ability to manage and mentor engineering teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
