Job Overview

Our organization seeks a highly experienced Senior Biostatistician to lead clinical research studies and provide expert consultation on statistical methodology.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Team Leadership: Supervise and direct the work of biostatisticians, associate biostatisticians, and SAS programmers.
  2. Methodology Expertise: Provide expert consultation on statistical methodology to projects across the organization.
  3. Problem Solving: Solve complex statistical problems and provide technical review of proposed statistical designs for research studies.
  4. Project Management: Lead the project team in developing study analysis plans and statistical programs.
  5. Knowledge Management: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of statistical and medical literature to ensure adoption of sound methodologies.
  6. Strategic Planning: Foster innovation in biostatistics and ensure scientific integrity of research projects.

Requirements

  • A master's degree in biostatistics, statistics, or a related field with 4+ years of experience or a Ph.D. in biostatistics, statistics, epidemiology, or a related field with 1+ year of experience.
  • Demonstrated expertise in statistical methods, data manipulation, and programming skills in SAS and/or R.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
