About the Role

As a Senior Data Analyst at ENCORE, you will play a critical part in shaping our data-driven approach to business. With your expertise in SQL and data analysis, you will help us extract valuable insights from large datasets and make informed decisions that drive growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop complex SQL queries to extract meaningful insights from large datasets.
  • Develop efficient and optimized SQL queries to improve query performance.
  • Create and maintain data pipelines to automate data ingestion and processing.
  • Design and develop insightful reports to provide actionable insights.
  • Utilize SQL to generate custom reports tailored to specific business needs.
  • Automate report generation processes to streamline workflows.
  • Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues.
  • Implement database optimization techniques to improve query performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of data-driven applications.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Deep understanding of SQL concepts, including data manipulation, aggregation, and joins.
  • Experience with SQL query optimization techniques.
  • Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries to extract meaningful insights.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Unix/Linux scripting.
  • Knowledge of AWS services, such as Redshift, RDS, or S3.
  • Familiarity with API concepts and experience using tools like Postman.
  • Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Experience working in Agile environments and using tools like Jira and Git.
