Electrification Team Member

We seek an accomplished mechanical engineer to lead the design and development of inverter systems and sub-assemblies.

  • Develop mechanical designs for inverter assemblies and components from concept through to production.
  • Apply Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) to ensure design intent and manufacturability.
  • Conduct creepage and clearance analysis in compliance with high-voltage safety standards.
  • Perform tolerance stack-up analysis to validate design robustness.

The ideal candidate will be proficient in 3D CAD tools and capable of delivering robust, innovative, and manufacturable solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Create detailed 3D models and 2D drawings using 3D CAD software.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical, thermal, and manufacturing engineers.
  3. Support design reviews, DFMEAs, and validation planning.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in mechanical design of inverter systems or similar high-voltage power electronics.
  • Strong knowledge of GD&T, creepage and clearance, and tolerance analysis.
  • Proficient in 3D CAD software.
  • Understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and design for assembly.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
  • Familiarity with automotive standards and EV powertrain systems.
