About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our Capital Allocation Team as a Global Finance Partner - Capital Allocation. This role is instrumental in setting up reporting structures, assessing capital project proposals, auditing projects, and building valuation models to drive consistency across the company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in quarterly reporting to BGE, including dashboarding, capex projects status, and peer benchmarking.
  • Highlight and explain variances, providing proactive insights on deviations and checking forecasting reliability of capital forecasts.
  • KPI follow-up of active projects to ensure proper execution and delivery in line with made commitments.
  • Build and maintain standardized templates and dashboards, including valuation models and CAR templates for project evaluation assessment.
  • Contribute to M&A transactions in valuation and financial due diligence of targets.
  • Project proposal assessments and building business cases for stakeholders in coordination with Business Units.
  • Support Business Units with strategic projects, such as footprint reviews, greenfield business cases, and Bold moves.
  • Audits of projects to ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Assisting in the development and refinement of the company's capital allocation framework and policies, while continuously enhancing capital expenditure (CAPEX) processes.
  • Ad-hoc financial analysis.
About You

To succeed in this role, you will need to have:

Essential Skills and Competencies:
  • Educational Qualifications: CA, CPA, or MBA degree, or equivalent experience.
  • Master's degree or above, majoring in finance or a related field.
  • Prior financial analyst experience across a complex global enterprise of significant scale, preferably in a global international environment, and preferably in manufacturing industry.
  • Hands-on experience with capital projects, such as capital expenditure business cases, M&A transactions, payback calculations, and project audits.
  • Demonstrated track record of success and reporting excellence.
Technical Skills:
  • Expert in MS Office Excel, Excel Power Pivot, and PowerPoint presentation skills.
  • Microsoft Power BI Knowledge preferred.
Soft Skills:
  • Business understanding and ability to analyze complex information, draw logical conclusions about business implications, and identify actions.
  • Problem-solving and analytical way of thinking.
  • Ability to prioritize and organize workload, proactively identify risks, and escalate when required.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present and explain financial results in a credible, professional manner to a wide variety of audiences.
  • Ability to work in a virtual team setting and work with different teams and cultures.
  • Cross-functional and project management skills.
  • Ability to work under time-bound pressures and have a can-do attitude with commitment to meeting deadlines.
Estimated Salary:

$120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
