Job Summary:

GEDU Services seeks a seasoned Education Technology Architect to spearhead the design, implementation, and management of innovative technology solutions enhancing the educational experience for students and educators.

This role requires close collaboration with educational leaders, IT teams, and stakeholders to ensure technology initiatives align with educational goals and improve learning outcomes.

Main Responsibilities:Technology Strategy and Planning:
  1. Develop and Implement Educational Technology Strategy: Create an overarching educational technology strategy aligning with the institution's educational goals and objectives.
  2. Emerging Technologies Evaluation: Identify and evaluate emerging educational technologies to assess their potential impact on teaching and learning.
System Design and Implementation:
  1. Technology Solution Design: Design and oversee the implementation of technology solutions for classrooms, online learning environments, and administrative functions.
  2. System Scalability and Security: Ensure technology systems are scalable, secure, and seamlessly integrate with existing infrastructure.
Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:
  1. Needs Assessment and Translation: Collaborate with educators, administrators, and IT teams to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements.
  2. Vendor and Partner Collaboration: Work with vendors and external partners to procure and implement suitable technology solutions.
Professional Development and Training:
  1. Training Program Development: Develop and deliver training programs for educators and staff to effectively utilize educational technologies.
  2. Ongoing Support and Resources: Provide ongoing support and resources to ensure technology is used effectively in the classroom and administrative settings.
Data Management and Analytics:
  1. Data Collection and Analysis: Implement systems for data collection, analysis, and reporting to support educational decision-making.
  2. Compliance and Data Security: Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and best practices in data security.
Innovation and Continuous Improvement:
  1. Trend Identification and Improvement: Stay current with trends in educational technology and continually seek ways to improve technology solutions and implementations.
  2. Culture of Innovation: Promote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the organization.
Technical Support and Troubleshooting:
  1. System Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Oversee the maintenance and troubleshooting of educational technology systems.
  2. Timely Resolution of Issues: Ensure timely resolution of technical issues to minimize disruptions to educational activities.
Requirements:
  1. Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education Technology, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  2. Experience: Proven experience as an Education Technology Architect, IT Architect, or similar role within an educational setting.
  3. Skills: Strong knowledge of educational technology trends, tools, and best practices, proficiency in systems architecture, integration, and implementation, excellent project management and organizational skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  1. Certification: Certification in education technology or related fields.
  2. E-learning Platforms: Experience with e-learning platforms and online course development.
  3. Instructional Design: Knowledge of instructional design principles and practices.
  4. Data Analytics: Familiarity with data analytics and reporting tools.
