Job Overview:

This is a challenging opportunity for a seasoned production manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our food manufacturing operations, ensuring efficient production processes, maintaining high-quality standards, and driving innovation.

Responsibilities:

  1. Manufacturing Operations:
  • Oversee daily production activities, ensuring productivity, efficiency, and quality across all production lines.
  • Develop and implement effective production plans, manage resources, and streamline workflows.
  • Optimize production processes for diverse technologies, including dehydration, vacuum frying, confectionery, coffee, cocoa, and bakery products.
Quality Assurance:
  • Design and implement QA systems and food safety protocols that meet FSMS, HACCP, GMP, FSSAI, and ISO 22000 standards.
  • Ensure end-to-end traceability, batch control, and compliance with regulatory specifications.
Technological Innovation:
  • Research and evaluate emerging food processing technologies to drive innovation and growth.
  • Lead pilot trials, commissioning of new equipment, and scale-up of new products or processes.
Leadership & Collaboration:
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of production, QA, and maintenance personnel.
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain and Planning teams to ensure smooth production scheduling, inventory control, and resource allocation.
Continuous Improvement:
  • Apply Lean, Six Sigma, and other methodologies to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and optimize costs.
  • Monitor performance, analyze KPIs, and provide insightful reporting to senior leadership.
Documentation & Reporting:
  • Maintain accurate production records, quality deviation logs, batch records, and operational KPIs.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and present operational insights to senior leadership for informed decision-making.
  • Identify and address bottlenecks to optimize plant performance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Food Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in food manufacturing and quality assurance.
  • Proven track record of managing at least 2-3 of the mentioned food processing technologies.
  • Familiarity with food safety and regulatory standards, including FSMS, HACCP, ISO 22000, FSSAI, and GMP.
  • Ability to adapt to new technologies, analytical mindset, excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, preferably SAP.
  • Certifications in PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or similar (optional).
