Job Title: Mergers and Acquisitions Manager

Description:

  • Analyze investment opportunities through industry research, market analysis, macroeconomic assessment, and risk-to-return analysis to identify potential investments.
  • Review and audit complex financial models equipped with VBA coding independently, delivering precise calculation results as needed.
  • Support cross-border investment structuring and tax planning, ensuring compliance with local tax regulations and utilizing external tax advisor guidance when necessary.
  • Assist in investment execution and post-investment management, tracking periodic progress updates and providing concise minutes for transaction monitoring.
  • Develop periodic project execution summaries and risk monitoring matrices for top management review.
  • Review key transaction documents to ensure proper risk allocation and management.
  • Support local business development teams with analytical support and contribute to M&A transactions by building data rooms, creating financial model scenarios, and coordinating with investors and third parties.

Requirements:

  • Proficient in English language.
  • Open to relocation within APAC countries.
  • Prior experience in consulting, investment banking, advisory, transaction services, or corporate finance is preferred.
  • 4-8 years of relevant work experience in M&A, with a focus on renewables.
  • Strong ability to analyze complex transaction documents and build numerical models.
  • Experienced in industry research to gain market insights.
  • Motivated to learn infrastructure investment and M&A strategies.
  • Detail-oriented and result-driven professional.
  • Candidates with engineering backgrounds who have exposure in direct investment are welcome.
