Job Title: Cloud Security Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Security Specialist to join our team.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the security of our cloud-based applications and data. Your primary focus will be on developing and implementing robust security measures to protect our infrastructure from potential threats.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Designing and configuring cloud native security tooling and capabilities, with a focus on Google Cloud Organizational policies/constraints, VPC SC, IAM policies and GCP APIs
  • Implementing Policy-as-code (Rego) and OPA platform solutions to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Developing across the security assurance lifecycle, including prevent, detect, respond, and remediate controls
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate security risks

Key Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in software and/or cloud platform engineering, particularly focused on GCP environment
  • Deep understanding of Shared Responsibility Model and security risks inherent in hosting cloud-based applications and data
  • Strong scripting skills in languages such as PowerShell or Python or Bash or Go
