Fashion Merchandising Assistant

Role Overview

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills to manage relationships with designers and multi-designer stores. This role requires a balance of creativity, strong business acumen and analytical ability.

Key responsibilities include managing merchandise flow, coordinating business operations, ensuring timely deliveries and product visibility, and driving sales growth through merchandising strategies.

This role is ideal for those who are self-motivated, detail-oriented and able to work independently in a hybrid environment.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and nurture relationships with existing designers and multi-designer stores.
  • Coordinate merchandise flow and business operations.
  • Ensure timely deliveries, product visibility, and brand positioning across partner stores.
  • Drive sales growth for existing brands by developing merchandising strategies.
  • Track performance and provide actionable insights to maximize sell-through.
  • Support marketing and promotional activities to strengthen brand recall.
  • Identify and onboard new designers that align with the company's vision.
  • Negotiate commercial terms and agreements with new and existing partners.
  • Develop long-term, mutually beneficial collaborations.
Requirements
  • Minimum 6 months of experience in fashion merchandising. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical ability and a keen eye for fashion trends.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a hybrid environment.
