Developmental Specialist

The role of a physiotherapist in our special school is multifaceted and demanding, requiring an individual who is passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of children and adults with special needs.

As a physiotherapist, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments to identify the physical and developmental needs of our learners. This will involve working closely with teachers, parents, and other health professionals to develop, implement, and review individualized treatment plans and goals.

Delivering tailored physiotherapy sessions to each child's developmental level and physical needs is a crucial aspect of this role. You will also provide support for physical access and mobility within the school environment, including recommending adaptations and assistive equipment as necessary.

Monitoring progress and outcomes using evidence-based tools is essential to updating care plans and ensuring the best possible outcomes for our learners.
