Job Summary:

The TCP Corps is seeking a highly skilled Production Manager to oversee the manufacturing process and ensure efficient production runs. This role involves planning, organizing, directing, and controlling production activities to meet quality specifications and cost-effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Implement Production Schedules: Create and manage production schedules and workflows to optimize production output.
  • Supervise and Motivate Production Workers: Lead and motivate a team of production workers to ensure smooth operations and high-quality products.
  • Monitor Production Processes: Continuously monitor production processes and adjust schedules as needed to maintain efficiency and quality.
  • Ensure Compliance with Health and Safety Regulations: Ensure that production processes comply with health and safety regulations to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Optimize Production Output: Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to optimize production output while controlling costs.
  • Collaborate with Quality Control and Maintenance Teams: Work closely with quality control and maintenance teams to ensure that production processes meet quality specifications and are maintained efficiently.
  • Implement Lean Manufacturing Principles: Implement and oversee lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
  • Identify and Resolve Production Issues: Identify and resolve production issues and bottlenecks to minimize downtime and maximize production output.
  • Implement and Monitor KPIs and Production Metrics: Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) and production metrics to measure production performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Coordinate with Procurement and Inventory Management: Work closely with procurement and inventory management teams to ensure that production processes are supported by adequate materials and inventory.
  • Prepare and Maintain Production Reports: Prepare and maintain production reports to track production performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Lead Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Lead continuous improvement initiatives to drive process improvements and increase efficiency.
  • Assist in the Training and Development of Production Staff: Assist in the training and development of production staff to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs effectively.
  • Ensure Compliance with Environmental Regulations: Ensure that production processes comply with environmental regulations to prevent pollution and minimize the company's environmental footprint.
  • Manage Production Budget and Resources: Manage production budget and resources to ensure that production processes are supported by adequate funding and resources.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering or Operations Management: A bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or operations management is required.
  • Good Knowledge and Working Experience with ASTM Codes & Practices: Good knowledge and working experience with ASTM codes and practices are required.
  • Working Experience with Fabrication Reactors & Pressure Vessels: Working experience with fabrication reactors and pressure vessels is required.
  • Proven Experience as a Production Manager or Similar Role: Proven experience as a production manager or similar role is required.
  • Strong Knowledge of Production Management Principles and Techniques: Strong knowledge of production management principles and techniques is required.
  • Experience in Implementing Lean Manufacturing Practices: Experience in implementing lean manufacturing practices is required.
  • Familiarity with Quality Control Systems and Methodologies: Familiarity with quality control systems and methodologies is required.
