Principal Electronic Payment Systems Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Base24 EPS professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in payment systems, particularly in Base24 EPS (Electronic Payment Server), and a proven track record in developing, configuring, and supporting transaction processing systems.
The selected individual will be responsible for developing, configuring, and maintaining Base24 EPS applications to support transaction processing and payment systems. This includes working on the design, development, and integration of ATM, POS, and payment switch systems.
The candidate will also perform enhancements, customizations, and defect fixes in EPS modules. Additionally, they will analyze business and technical requirements to deliver high-quality solutions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing, configuring, and maintaining Base24 EPS applications
- Designing, developing, and integrating ATM, POS, and payment switch systems
- Performing enhancements, customizations, and defect fixes in EPS modules
- Analyzing business and technical requirements to deliver high-quality solutions
To succeed in this role, you should possess 5+ years of hands-on experience in Base24 EPS development and support. You should also have strong experience with Tandem/HP NonStop (TACL, TAL, COBOL, C, SCOBOL, Pathway, Enscribe, SQL/MP) and knowledge of payment transaction processing (ATM, POS, ISO8583, EMV).
You should also have hands-on experience with XPNET, ACI tools, and BASE24-EPS modules. Additionally, you should be familiar with interfaces with networks (Visa, Mastercard, Rupay, UPI, etc.). Experience in system performance tuning, debugging, and troubleshooting is essential.
A good understanding of ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management) is also required. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are necessary for success in this position.
