Job Title: Medical Specialist

Job Summary:

The role of a medical specialist is to provide quality medical care and support to the community. As a resident duty doctor, you will be responsible for providing OPD services, performing minor medical procedures, and coordinating with referral hospitals for holistic healthcare services.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing OPD services: You will be responsible for providing out-patient department services, including emergency and first aid medical care.
  • Performing minor medical procedures: You will perform minor medical procedures in the health centre as needed.
  • Coordinating with referral hospitals: You will coordinate with referral hospitals and government hospitals for holistic healthcare services.
  • Procuring medicine and equipment: You will procure regular medicine, emergency drugs, and medical equipment following SOP guidelines.
  • Reviewing stock and medical records: You will review medicine stock, medical equipment, and reconcile as necessary.
  • Supervising staff: You will supervise medical staff, ambulance drivers on roster adherence and regular training and medical education to the team.
  • Providing First Aid Training: You will provide First Aid training to security, wardens, and NSS students and volunteers.
  • Conducting health awareness programs: You will conduct health awareness programs, medical camps, and blood donation camps.
