Job Title: Cloud-Native Platform Strategist

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineering Manager to lead the design and implementation of our cloud-native platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of platform engineering, data architecture, and solution architecture principles.

This role requires strategic thinking, technical expertise, and excellent communication skills. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to define priorities and solve complex challenges.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop a Clear Vision: Design and communicate a clear platform vision to enable business growth and operational efficiency.
  • Partner with Teams: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define priorities and solve challenges.
  • Design Data Pipelines: Develop end-to-end data pipelines leveraging AWS services such as S3, Glue, Redshift, Athena, EMR, Kinesis, DynamoDB, and SageMaker.
  • Implement Data Storage: Implement data product storage, processing, and APIs using AWS-native tools and serverless architectures.
  • Apply Infrastructure as Code: Utilize Terraform or AWS CDK for provisioning and managing cloud resources.
  • Drive Governance: Ensure compliance with security and operational standards through effective platform governance.
Requirements:
  • 12+ years of experience in platform engineering, data architect, data engineering, or solution architecture.
  • Strong expertise in building scalable, secure, and compliant cloud-native platforms.
  • Proven track record in designing and managing multi-tenant systems on AWS.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS cloud, Big data and Analytics ecosystem (Airflow, Spark, Python, Flink, AWS Batch, S3, Athena, ECS-Fargate, SQS).
