Professor of Anatomy

Role Overview:

We seek a distinguished Professor of Anatomy to lead our academic team and contribute to the institution's mission of advancing medical education and research.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality lectures, guiding postgraduate students, and developing innovative teaching methodologies.

• Academic & Teaching: Deliver engaging lectures, practical sessions, and tutorials in Anatomy to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
• Guide postgraduate students in advanced anatomical studies, thesis writing, and seminars.
• Develop cutting-edge teaching methodologies, including digital anatomy, simulation-based training, and cadaveric dissection.
• Design and update the Anatomy curriculum as per institutional guidelines.

• Conduct and supervise original research projects in gross anatomy, histology, embryology, neuroanatomy, and clinical applications.
• Publish research papers in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
• Guide Ph.D. scholars and postgraduate students in research methodology and publications.
• Collaborate with other departments and external institutions on interdisciplinary research.

• Serve as Head/Coordinator of the Department (if designated).
• Organize academic events, such as CMEs, workshops, conferences, and webinars.
• Maintain departmental records, cadaver procurement, and laboratory resources.
• Ensure compliance with institutional, ethical, and regulatory standards.

• MD (Anatomy) / MS (Anatomy) or equivalent recognized qualification.
• 8+ Years of teaching experience in Anatomy as per institutional norms.
• Strong academic background with evidence of research publications in indexed journals.
• Experience in curriculum development, e-learning, and modern teaching methodologies preferred.
