Physics Researcher - Remote Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled researcher to join our team in fine-tuning and evaluating large language models (LLMs) focused on physics. The successful candidate will have strong analytical backgrounds and expertise in solving complex physics problems.

Job Description:

The primary responsibility of this role is to contribute to the development and improvement of LLMs by completing tasks designed to identify model weaknesses and improve training and evaluation workflows. This involves working on multi-step conceptual or quantitative questions in areas like mechanics, electromagnetism, thermodynamics, and quantum theory.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Academic Background: PhD/Postdoc in Physics, Applied Physics, or related field.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to solve advanced physics problems with clear reasoning.
  • Communication Skills: Clear explanation of complex topics and providing feedback.
  • Research Independence: Ability to work independently in a remote research environment and participate in team discussions.
  • Technical Setup: Reliable computer and internet access for remote assignments.
