We seek an experienced AI professional to enhance our product development workflows, engineering services, and organisational processes with AI expertise.

The ideal candidate combines strong technical skills with the ability to design, develop, and deploy scalable AI solutions that are transparent, reliable, and easy to maintain.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Develop AI Models:
  • Select and build appropriate AI/ML models based on problem type and business objectives.
  • Split datasets into training/testing sets, ensuring robust evaluation and validation.
  • Ensure models are designed for transparency, interpretability, and regular updates.
  • Manage Data Quality:
  • Collect, clean, and preprocess datasets from multiple sources.
  • Ensure data relevance and accuracy while detecting and removing bias.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to embed AI into production systems.
  • Deploy and Monitor AI Solutions:
  • Deploy models into real-world environments with emphasis on scalability and reliability.
  • Monitor performance, retrain, and refine models as needed.
  • Maintain clear documentation and version control for reproducibility.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum 6+ years in engineering (software, hardware, or systems).
  • At least 3 years in AI/ML, with hands-on experience in model development, training, and deployment.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Strong programming ability (Python, Java, or R).
  • Proficiency with AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, Hugging Face).
  • Solid knowledge of data science practices: feature engineering, training/testing pipelines, evaluation metrics.
  • Familiarity with NLP, computer vision, and/or generative AI.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in AI, ML, Data Science, or related field.
  • Experience ensuring fairness, transparency, and explainability in AI systems.
  • Background in applying AI to engineering-heavy environments.
  • Contributions to AI research, open-source projects, or published papers.
