Backend Developer Role

The Opportunity:

Our company seeks a skilled Backend Developer to design and maintain robust systems using Python and Django. This role offers a chance to work on cutting-edge broadcast technology solutions and collaborate in an innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop scalable applications with modular components, ensuring maintainability.
  • Work with Next.js and TypeScript when required for frontend components.
  • Collaborate with designers to integrate applications seamlessly.
  • Optimize database schemas and queries for improved performance.
  • Deploy and maintain applications on AWS infrastructure.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application issues promptly.
  • Participate in code reviews and implement best practices.
  • Write clean, well-documented code.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and implement innovative solutions.

Requirements:

  • 3-4 years of experience in full stack development with a strong backend focus.
  • Strong proficiency in Python and Django framework.
  • Experience with frontend technologies, particularly Next.js and TypeScript.
  • Knowledge of AWS services and cloud infrastructure.
  • Experience with database systems (SQL and NoSQL).
  • Solid understanding of version control systems (Git).
  • Understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with PySide6 for desktop application development.
  • Background in broadcast technology or media industry.
  • Experience with real-time data processing.
  • Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
