Job Title: Snowflake Cloud Administrator

We seek an accomplished professional to manage, optimize and secure our Snowflake Data Cloud environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Snowflake Administration: Manage accounts, users, roles, permissions in line with RBAC principles.
  • Performance Optimization: Monitor query performance, optimize warehouses and tune workloads for efficient execution.
  • Data Management: Oversee databases, schemas, tables, data pipelines in Snowflake.
  • Security & Compliance: Implement best practices including encryption, data masking, network policies and audit logging.
  • Automation: Develop scripts for monitoring, alerting and automating administrative tasks (SQL, Python, PowerShell).
  • Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Track warehouse utilization, storage, query performance; identify and resolve bottlenecks.
  • Cost Optimization: Manage compute and storage costs by monitoring consumption and implementing optimization strategies.
  • Upgrades & Maintenance: Apply patches, monitor updates and ensure minimal downtime.
  • Integration: Support integrations with ETL/ELT tools, BI platforms and cloud services.
  • Documentation & Governance: Maintain detailed documentation of configurations, policies and standard operating procedures.
