Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Partnership Development Lead to join our team at Setu. As a key member of our sales function, you will play a critical role in building and maintaining relationships with our channel partners, including banks, NBFCs, and fintechs.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the financial services industry and be able to identify opportunities for strategic partnerships that drive growth and revenue for Setu.

Key Responsibilities
  • Finding and qualifying new channel partners to create a pipeline of strategic partnerships
  • Developing and delivering a win-win proposition to close deals with key decision-makers
  • Building and nurturing relationships with partner executives to identify business needs and map them to existing Setu products
  • Positioning Setu products to meet partner clients' requirements
  • Defining and executing joint go-to-market strategies with partners
  • Telling compelling stories and demos to engage partners
  • Nurturing existing partner relationships and developing deep relationships once key partners are on board
Collaboration and Communication
  • Working closely with cross-functional teams, including business, product management, marketing, onboarding, legal, and finance to ensure seamless execution of partnership initiatives
  • Communicating effectively with partner executives and stakeholders to build trust and drive results
Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience in sales or business development, preferably in the financial services industry
  • Degree in any field; post-graduate degree preferred
