Job Title: Video Editor

We are seeking a skilled Video Editor to create engaging video content for our clients. The ideal candidate will have experience in editing and assembling recorded raw footage into a finished project that meets our high standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Edit videos for promotional, educational, social media, and other digital content
  • Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film
  • Input music, dialogues, graphics, and effects to enhance the final product
  • Review shooting script and raw material to create a shot decision list based on scenes' value and contribution to continuity
  • Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running of videos
  • Collaborate with directors and production team to ensure creative alignment
  • Apply color grading, audio editing, and sound mixing to videos as needed
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and video editing techniques
  • Manage and organize video libraries and assets
  • Optimize video content for social media platforms, including aspect ratios and formats for YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, etc.
Requirements:
  • Proven work experience as a Video Editor with a strong portfolio of video editing work
  • Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar tools
  • Experience with After Effects, Motion Graphics, and visual effects is a plus
  • Knowledge of audio editing software (e.g., Audacity, Adobe Audition) is a plus
  • Familiarity with color grading, sound design, and video formats
  • Strong attention to detail and creative problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with creative teams
  • Knowledge of camera operation, lighting, and basic cinematography is preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Film Studies, Media, or a related field (preferred but not required)
