Senior Snowflake Solutions Architect

  • Job Description:
  • As a highly skilled data professional, you will design, develop, and optimize scalable data pipelines, data models, and analytics solutions on Snowflake, ensuring compliance, security, and performance to meet regulatory and business needs.
  • You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver advanced data analytics capabilities that support strategic decision-making and drive business growth.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement Snowflake data warehouses, schemas, and data-sharing solutions to meet evolving business requirements.
  • Develop and maintain data models that support large-scale BFSI use cases, including regulatory reporting, fraud detection, and risk analytics.
  • Build, schedule, and monitor complex data pipelines using Matillion, ensuring seamless data integration and optimal performance.
  • Optimize ELT workflows for large-scale BFSI data volumes, including transactional, customer, risk, and compliance datasets.
  • Implement robust error handling, logging, and recovery mechanisms to ensure high availability and minimal downtime.
  • Translate banking data requirements into scalable Snowflake solutions, leveraging your expertise in data modeling and data governance.
  • Collaborate with cloud engineers to ensure secure, compliant cloud deployments that meet regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience with over 6 years hands-on experience with Snowflake (data modeling, performance tuning, secure data sharing, resource monitors, streams & tasks).
  • Advanced Matillion ETL development skills and experience with cloud-native ETL tools.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, and cloud services (AWS/GCP/Azure), with a strong understanding of data security and compliance principles.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and DevOps integration for data workflows, as well as a deep understanding of financial data models and BFSI regulations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Able to lead data discussions with both business and technical teams, driving collaboration and consensus-building.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Snowflake SnowPro Advanced Architect / Data Engineer certification.
  • Experience with Tableau/Power BI for reporting layer integration and a strong understanding of data visualization principles.
  • BFSI-specific project experience in core banking, digital payments, wealth management analytics, and data security.
