Combining scientific expertise with creative design skills, you will create accurate and visually engaging materials as a Scientific Graphic Designer.

Your work will include scientific illustrations, graphical abstracts, journal cover images, infographics, posters, brochures, and more. You will be responsible for ensuring that all visuals are both scientifically accurate and visually impactful, aligned with client requirements.

To achieve this, you will develop storyboards that outline the visual narrative, ensuring alignment with the scientific content and client objectives. Your role will involve generating rough sketches to illustrate the initial visual concepts, collaborating closely with researchers, writers, and clients to refine and finalize the visual representation.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in STEM fields, specifically biology, biotechnology, medicine, chemistry, physics, or engineering. Additionally, you should have 3-5 years of experience in scientific graphic designing, communicating complex research into visually engaging output.

Advanced skills in Adobe Design Suite (Illustrator and Photoshop) are essential, while proficiency in creating 3D designs in Blender is an added advantage. Your understanding of the scientific publishing landscape and science communication principles will enable you to effectively convey complex ideas through visuals.

This role involves reviewing peers' and freelancers' outputs to ensure they meet client expectations and are delivery-ready. The application process includes a technical assessment and one interview round, providing ample opportunities to showcase your skills and expertise.
