Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Component Manager to oversee the lifecycle management of electronic and electromechanical components used in smart meter hardware.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of component qualification processes, industry standards, and supply chain risks.

  • Main Responsibilities
    • Manage the availability, cost optimization, and compliance of components with industry standards.
    • Mitigate supply chain risks through proactive vendor management and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering (master's preferred).
  • 5–10 years of experience in component engineering, hardware design, or related fields.
  • Strong knowledge of smart meter standards (IEC, IS, DLMS/COSEM) and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in electronic supply chain, vendor qualification, and lifecycle management.
  • Hands-on experience with PLM tools, ERP systems, and component databases.

  • Identify and qualify alternates for 90% of critical components.
