Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our Application Health and Monitoring team. This role involves collaborating with engineers and developers across various layers of applications and infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance of our suite of solutions.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

  • Designing, deploying, and managing scalable, secure, and cost-effective infrastructure on cloud platforms.
  • Implementing security best practices across infrastructure, applications, and APIs.
  • Performing log analysis and implementing monitoring tools to ensure application health.
  • Administering databases, including upgrades, backups, and performance tuning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cloud Infrastructure Management:
    • Design, deploy, and manage scalable, secure, and cost-effective infrastructure on AWS.
    • Familiar with ECS/EKS, CloudFormation and CloudTrail.
  • Security & Compliance:
    • Implement security best practices across infrastructure, applications, and APIs.
    • Manage IAM roles and policies, enforce least privilege access and regularly audit permissions.
  • Monitoring and Troubleshooting:
    • Perform log analysis and implement monitoring tools to ensure application health.
    • Troubleshoot production issues and provide on-call support.
  • Database Management:
    • Administer Postgres and Redis databases, including upgrades, backups, and performance tuning.
  • Incident Management & RCA:
    • Lead incident response efforts and implement preventive actions to reduce MTTR.

Key Skills & Expertise

  • Experience with IaaS and PaaS cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
  • Expertise in monitoring tools and log analysis (AWS CloudWatch, DataDog).
  • Familiarity with DevOps concepts, including Docker and Kubernetes.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Certifications in cloud platforms or DevOps.
  • Familiarity with security best practices and compliance requirements.
