Job OverviewCloud Security Engineer: We are seeking an experienced Cloud Security Engineer to join our team. As a Cloud Security Engineer, you will play a critical role in enhancing the security posture of our infrastructure across cloud platforms.Responsibilities:1. Develop and implement security controls across cloud platforms AWS, Azure, GCP to ensure secure deployment of services using container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
2. Perform cloud-specific penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, and insecure APIs, followed by remediation and automation scripts to improve cloud security processes, vulnerability scanning, and monitoring using tools like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
3. Collaborate with DevOps and infrastructure teams to ensure secure deployment of services and maintain automation scripts for improving cloud security processes, vulnerability scanning, and monitoring.
4. Manage cloud security monitoring tools, SIEM solutions like ELK SIEM, Splunk, and provide real-time threat detection and incident response capabilities.
5. Ensure compliance with security standards and regulations like GDPR, HIPAA, NIST within cloud environments and review and enhance security policies, IAM roles, and permissions to prevent unauthorized access and data breaches.
6. Participate in security audits, vulnerability assessments, and risk analysis to ensure understanding of industry best practices and communicate complex security issues to all partners, ensuring clarity and applicable insights.
7. Provide mentorship to junior team members and guidance on cloud security best practices to promote a culture of security-first thinking and research and stay up-to-date with the latest cloud security threats, technologies, and best practices to ensure we remain ahead of the latest threats.
8. Participate in post-incident reviews and root cause analysis to improve response strategies and reduce future risks.
