Job Title: AI Governance Specialist

This role involves overseeing the administration and management of AI tools, ensuring their secure and effective usage within an organization.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Configure data privacy controls to prevent sensitive data from being trained on AI models and enforce zero-retention policies.
  • Deliver comprehensive audit logs, compliance reporting, and monitoring for AI tool usage to ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Implement robust security measures and moderation tools to enhance the reliability of AI applications.
  • Analyze model performance and usage metrics, producing regular reports for leadership to inform strategic decisions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to API calls, latency, and integration failures, ensuring seamless operation of AI tools.
  • Maintain detailed documentation with setup/configuration steps, governance rules, and best practices for AI tool management.
  • Develop knowledge bases and wikis for developers and end users to facilitate knowledge sharing and skill development.
  • Serve as a Tier 3 escalation point for AI-related incidents, providing expert-level support and resolution.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
  • 5-8 years of experience in AI applications engineering or a related role.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in AI tools, particularly OpenAI and Anthropic.
  • Strong understanding of data privacy controls and compliance requirements.
  • Experience in configuring and managing AI tool environments securely and effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to handle complex technical issues.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience delivering training and creating documentation.
