Quality Manager Position

The Quality Manager is a key role responsible for ensuring the quality of all incoming and outgoing plastic automotive fasteners meets established standards.

  • Liaise with third-party auditors to ensure compliance during audits.
  • Oversee inspection processes, manage quality documentation, address non-conformities, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Prepare and maintain quality plans, inspection standards, control plans, and other documents to ensure good-quality parts with zero defects.
  • Monitor and maintain cost of quality and quality assurance manpower costs as per targets.
  • Support in APQP process of new project development, ensuring smooth new project launches with zero defects during SOP+90 days.
  • Ensure timely joint inspections of parts for new projects or carryover parts as per customer requirements.
  • Conduct part revalidation in a timely manner as per layout plans submitted to customers.
  • Ensure and conduct compliance with vendor revalidation system audits as per schedule and MSIL requirements.
  • Implement Initial Flow Management of new project parts or carryover parts during SOP+90 days.
  • Train and educate team members, QREs, warehouse casual employees on quality standards, IATF, safety, inspection, and customer requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement in manufacturing processes, reduce defects, and enhance overall product quality.
  • Establish and manage key performance indicators to track and report on quality metrics, leading data-driven initiatives to address areas of improvement.
  • Participate in new product launches by conducting design reviews, risk assessments, and ensuring quality standards are met throughout the development process.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions in response to quality issues, customer complaints, or non-conformances.
Key Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as engineering, quality management, or business administration.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in quality management, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Familiarity with quality management systems such as IATF and ISO 9001.
