Animated Storyteller Wanted:

We are seeking a skilled motion designer and video content creator to join our team in producing high-quality, animated educational videos.

The ideal candidate will have experience in motion design, video content creation, or explainer video production, with a solid portfolio of 2D or motion graphic explainers.

Responsibilities include:

  • Designing and animating engaging explainer videos in a style similar to Coinbase Learn
  • Transforming scripts and storyboards into polished motion videos
  • Collaborating with copywriters and SMEs to simplify complex content
  • Creating animated assets (charts, UI flows, crypto concepts)
  • Recording or editing voiceovers, syncing audio, and applying subtle sound design
  • Maintaining brand style guides, animation principles, and reusable templates
  • Optimizing videos for YouTube, app platforms, and social media

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • Proficiency in Adobe After Effects (primary tool for motion graphics)
  • Familiarity with Figma / Adobe Illustrator (design and export vector assets)
  • Experience with Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve (final cuts & audio sync)
  • Skilled use of Audacity / Adobe Audition (voice cleanup, background audio)
  • Knowledge of Descript (AI-powered video editing & transcription)
  • Ability to source royalty-free music (Artlist, Epidemic Sound)
  • Comfortable with AI voiceover tools (like ElevenLabs) or studio VO
  • Blender (optional) - For 3D animations or visual flair

Qualifications and experience include:

  • 3-6 years in motion design, video content creation, or explainer video production
  • Solid portfolio of 2D or motion graphic explainers
  • Strong storytelling ability and comfort working with abstract concepts
  • Ability to work under creative direction while also proposing improvements
  • Bonus: familiarity with Web3, tokens, wallets, or DeFi systems

Nice to have:

  • Experience creating educational content for YouTube or learning platforms
  • Understanding of crypto, NFTs, or tokenomics
  • Experience using Lottie or exporting animations for web/mobile

Deliverables include:

  • 1-3 minute animated explainers (script-to-final with feedback cycles)
  • Script-to-final output cycle (including feedback rounds)
  • Social media cutdowns (10-30 seconds)
  • Source project files (AE, layered assets, etc)
