Job Title: Regulatory Compliance Specialist

The role of a Regulatory Compliance Specialist is to ensure that our organization's products and services comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. This includes maintaining accurate documentation, evaluating components and materials against restricted substance lists, and collaborating with suppliers to ensure data accuracy and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of regulatory requirements and updates in the field of chemicals and materials compliance.
  • Evaluating components and materials against restricted substance lists and maintaining internal compliance databases and document control systems.
  • Collaborating with suppliers to ensure data accuracy and compliance, including collecting, validating, and submitting accurate material data.
  • Preparing and submitting documentation such as SCIP notifications, SVHC declarations, RoHS/REACH certificates, and TSCA/Prop 65 disclosures.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A strong understanding of regulatory lists within IMDS, including GADSL (Global Automotive Declarable Substance List), SVHCs (Substances of Very High Concern), and Conflict Minerals.
  • The ability to identify and resolve errors and warnings in IMDS data, ensuring accurate and compliant results.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with international suppliers and stakeholders.
  • A bachelor's degree in a related field, such as engineering or environmental science, and at least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
