Job Title: Windchill Migration Architect

We are looking for a seasoned Windchill Migration Architect to spearhead the migration of our Windchill applications. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional to lead the transition while ensuring data integrity and system performance.

This position will involve collaborating with stakeholders to understand the requirements and challenges of the migration process, designing and implementing migration strategies and plans, and performing data mapping and validation to ensure seamless data transfer. Additionally, the successful candidate will provide technical support and troubleshooting during the migration process, train and mentor team members on Windchill functionalities and migration best practices, and document migration procedures, workflows, and technical specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead the migration of Windchill applications to newer versions or platforms.
  2. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand the requirements and challenges of the migration process.
  3. Design and implement migration strategies and plans.
  4. Perform data mapping and validation to ensure data integrity during migration.
  5. Provide technical support and troubleshooting during the migration process.
  6. Train and mentor team members on Windchill functionalities and migration best practices.
  7. Document migration procedures, workflows, and technical specifications.
Requirements:
  • 10-12 years of experience in Windchill implementation and migration projects.
  • Strong knowledge of Windchill architecture and customization.
  • Experience with PDM and PLM processes and tools.
  • Proficient in scripting and programming languages such as Java, XML, or SQL.
  • Familiarity with database management systems and data migration tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
