Job Summary

This position involves designing, deploying, and optimizing virtual environments using VMware ESXi/vSphere. Proficiency in managing Windows Server environments is also required. The successful candidate will have strong analytical skills and be able to troubleshoot issues efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, and optimize VMware ESXi/vSphere environments, including vCenter, HA, DRS, and vMotion.
  • Conduct capacity planning and performance tuning for virtual environments.
  • Administer and troubleshoot Windows Server environments, managing Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and certificate services.
  • Configure and manage enterprise storage systems (DDN, Dell EMC Isilon).
  • Automate provisioning and lifecycle management of VMs.
  • Respond to system alerts and outages, perform root cause analysis, and provide L3 technical support.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive infrastructure documentation, standard operating procedures, and disaster recovery plans.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Expertise in managing VMware ESXi/vSphere and Windows Server environments.
  • Strong skills in L2/L3 networking and experience with enterprise-grade storage systems like DDN and Dell EMC Isilon.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a service-oriented mindset.
  • Proven experience managing small teams or coordinating with vendors.
  • Strong documentation and communication skills.
  • VMware Certified Professional (VCP-DCV), Microsoft Certified : Windows Server Administrator, or ITIL Foundation certifications are preferred.
