Job Opportunity: ETL Tester

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled ETL tester to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for validating the Extract Transform Load (ETL) processes to ensure accuracy, completeness, and integrity of data across data pipelines and warehouses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for ETL workflows, ensuring seamless data extraction, transformation, and loading procedures.
  • Validate data reconciliation, row count checks, and column-level validations between source and target systems, guaranteeing data quality and consistency.
  • Collaborate with ETL developers, data engineers, and business analysts to understand transformation logic and business rules, driving process improvements.
  • Maintain documentation in tools like JIRA, HP ALM, and create traceability matrices and defect logs, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Automate repetitive testing tasks using scripting languages like Python or Shell, increasing efficiency and reducing manual errors.
  • Analyze test results and provide detailed reports to stakeholders, highlighting areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Ensure compliance with data governance and quality standards, safeguarding sensitive information and maintaining regulatory adherence.

Requirements:
