Senior Coastal Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead the design, construction, and management of breakwater systems. This is a unique opportunity for someone with hands-on experience in designing, constructing, and implementing coastal infrastructure projects.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Project leadership: Oversee the planning, design, and construction of rubblemound, vertical, and hybrid breakwaters to ensure protection of port infrastructure.
  • Infrastructure development: Lead the expansion of ports and marine facilities, ensuring adherence to project timelines, quality standards, and environmental regulations.
  • Coastal engineering: Apply expertise in hydrodynamics, coastal erosion, and sediment transport to optimize breakwater and shoreline protection systems.
  • Stakeholder collaboration: Work closely with government bodies, environmental agencies, contractors, and consultants to ensure the project's smooth execution and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Safety and environmental compliance: Ensure strict adherence to HSE guidelines and sustainable practices to minimize environmental impact during construction.
  • Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience in coastal engineering, port development, or breakwater construction projects.
  • Expertise in designing and implementing coastal infrastructure systems, including knowledge of materials, hydrodynamics, and coastal processes.
  • Ability to manage large teams and collaborate across departments to meet project goals.
  • Strong problem-solving skills in challenging coastal environments.
