Cloud Architect Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Architect to lead the design and implementation of scalable, resilient, and cost-effective cloud architectures across multiple platforms.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in one or more cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and a proven track record of designing and implementing scalable, resilient, and highly available solutions.

Main Responsibilities
  • Design and Implement Cloud Architectures: Develop and implement scalable, resilient, and cost-effective cloud architectures using industry-standard tools and methodologies.
  • Lead Infrastructure-as-Code Initiatives: Drive the adoption of infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, and ARM templates to manage and govern cloud infrastructure.
  • Containerized Environments: Design and manage containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes at enterprise scale.
  • Cloud Networking Solutions: Build secure cloud networking solutions (VPCs, load balancers, firewalls, segmentation) to support business applications and services.
  • DevOps Best Practices: Drive DevOps best practices, including CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment strategies to improve efficiency and quality.
  • Cloud Security Frameworks: Establish and maintain cloud security frameworks aligned with industry standards (SOC 2, GDPR) to ensure compliance and data protection.
  • Cloud Spend Optimization: Optimize cloud spend through resource management, rightsizing, and automation tools to minimize costs.
  • Data Lake and Big Data Architectures: Design and implement data lake and big data architectures to support AI/ML workloads and business analytics.
  • Monitoring and Logging Frameworks: Develop monitoring, logging, and observability frameworks using Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack to ensure system reliability and performance.
  • Technical Leadership: Partner with engineering teams to define technical requirements and guide architectural decisions to drive business outcomes.
  • Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity: Lead disaster recovery and business continuity planning for mission-critical systems to ensure business continuity.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
  • 8+ Years of Experience: 8+ years of experience in cloud architecture, design, and implementation.
  • Deep Expertise: Deep expertise in one or more cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Proven Track Record: Proven track record designing and implementing scalable, resilient, and highly available solutions.
  • Cloud Networking: Strong knowledge of cloud networking (VPC, load balancing, firewalls).
  • IaC Tools: Hands-on experience with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM).
  • Containerization and Orchestration: Proficiency in containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), and serverless technologies.
  • DevOps Practices: Solid background in DevOps practices and cloud cost optimization.
  • Cloud Security and Compliance: Knowledge of cloud security & compliance standards (SOC 2, GDPR).
  • Data Lakes and Big Data: Experience with data lakes and big data technologies in the cloud.
  • Monitoring and Logging Tools: Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
  • Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
