Job Description:

The role of Software Engineer is to design, develop, and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure web applications. This includes investigating and resolving issues reported for a large web application following best practices such as authoring or updating unit tests, writing maintainable code, applying established patterns and algorithms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop software to support internal initiatives, tools, update framework and application functionality">
  • Work as part of an Agile SCRUM team in the planning, scoping, estimation and execution of technical solutions">
  • Specialize in client or server-side web application development as a member of a project team">

Required Skills and Qualifications:

">

For this position, we are looking for a highly skilled individual with at least 2+ years of experience in developing highly scalable, reliable, secure web applications. Experience working in Financials product development teams is preferred.

  • Familiarity with Genero 4GL features such as screen forms, reports, and database connectivity to develop enterprise web applications">
  • Good knowledge of SQL and NoSQL DBMS (MS SQL Server, DynamoDB, Redis, etc.)">
  • Experience testing software in alignment with the Test Pyramid">
  • Strong CS fundamentals including familiarity with data structures and especially the asynchronous challenges that face JavaScript developers today">
