Job Description:

As a Cloud Infrastructure Specialist, you will oversee the deployment and maintenance of scalable cloud infrastructure. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement efficient solutions that meet business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deploy and manage OpenStack environments using Kolla-Ansible and TripleO for optimal performance and reliability.
  • Design and maintain Ceph storage clusters for high availability and optimal performance.
  • Manage block storage, file storage, and object storage using Ceph RGW/S3, Swift, or equivalent.
  • Optimize OpenStack control plane and compute resources for performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Manage and troubleshoot containerized applications using Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes or OpenShift.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts and playbooks using Ansible for infrastructure provisioning and configuration management.
  • Integrate OpenStack environments with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement cloud-native solutions.
  • Participate in CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure changes and application deployments.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • 7–10 years of hands-on experience with OpenStack, including deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Proven experience deploying OpenStack using Kolla-Ansible (container-based deployment) and TripleO (bare-metal deployment).
  • Relevant 3–5 years of experience with containerization technologies, primarily Docker.
  • Relevant 2–3 years of experience with Kubernetes and/or OpenShift administration.
  • Proficiency in Ceph storage setup and management for block, file, and object storage.
  • Strong proficiency in Ansible for automation and configuration management.
  • Solid understanding of Linux systems administration, preferably RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu.
  • Knowledge of networking concepts relevant to cloud environments, including VLANs, VXLANs, routing, firewalls, and load balancing.
  • Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows.
  • RHCE certified.
