We're seeking a seasoned expert to lead our front end development process, ensuring high-quality code and adherence to best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement innovative front end features and enhancements for eCommerce websites.
  • Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers to translate designs into functional, responsive web pages.
  • Customize and extend Magento themes and templates to meet business requirements.
  • Optimize web pages for speed and performance, ensuring cross-browser compatibility.
  • Maintain responsive web designs using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and other front end technologies.
  • Work with the back end team to integrate front end code with Magento's back-end systems, including custom extensions and APIs.
  • Conduct unit and integration testing to ensure a seamless user experience.
  • Stay current with front end development trends and Magento best practices.
  • Qualifications:
    • 4+ years of experience as a Front-End Developer, with a strong focus on Magento development.
    • In-depth knowledge of Magento 2, including theme and template development.
    • Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern front end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
    • Experience with JavaScript libraries such as jQuery and integrating them with Magento.
    • Expertise in responsive web design and mobile-first design principles.
    • Proficient in version control systems like Git.
    • Familiarity with front end build tools such as Webpack, Gulp, or Grunt.
    • Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and solutions.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Ability to work in an Agile development environment.
    • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
    • Experience in e-commerce and familiarity with Magento-specific modules and best practices is essential.
    • Nice to Have:
      • Experience with CSS preprocessors like SASS or LESS.
      • Familiarity with Magento 2's back-end (PHP, MySQL) is a plus.
      • Knowledge of web performance optimization tools and techniques (e.g., lazy loading, CDN integration).
      • Experience with integrating third-party tools and extensions into Magento websites.
